UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage Patients – Referral Reminder

If you have a UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan, please verify whether your insurance requires a referral to see a specialist.

It is your responsibility to ensure that a valid referral is in place before your appointment. If a required referral is not on file on the day of your visit, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.

We encourage you to contact your primary care provider and your insurance plan in advance to avoid any delays in your care.
